Your Future Self
I love a vision board. I've had one for years, and in fact I updated it last week.
Vision boards are about manifesting what you truly want in life. An exercise in thinking about what you really want, if you could have anything. The key is to think BIG. No limits.

Think of your future like a sat nav in a car. You need to know exactly where you're going in order to get there. You can't be vague. The same is true of life. If we don't know what we want, we have no hope of getting it.
Here is a link to a meditation you can do to get a feel for an ideal version of yourself in the future. For me it's a powerful visualisation and I have a crystal clear image of 'future me'. Down to how she looks, sounds and what she wears.

"If you can see it, you can be it".
We have a small part in our brain stem called the Reticular Activating System. It acts as a filter for the vast quantities of information we're subjected to daily. We couldn't possibly process everything, so it only allows in what it thinks we need, i.e. what we've been thinking about and focussing on. For example, you might visualise a job abroad and put it on your vision board. If a suitable opportunity is then floating around on your radar, your brain will flag it up as important information, and you're likely to notice it and act on it.
Future self work gives us an internal compass; we're less likely to get lost, we can confidently go in the direction of our dreams, and importantly we can enjoy the journey.
I have previously hosted vision board workshops and I'm thinking about putting some dates in for spring/summer, so please get in touch if you're interested!
