Networking

In the month that Flo’s Mag comes out (January, April, July and October) we host a networking event aimed at local small business owners in the lifestyle industry.

Up to 30 small, like-minded business owners come together to connect and collaborate. Great friendships and working relationships are formed as a result of these events. It’s an opportunity to connect in real life, bounce ideas, give advice, receive advice and have a jolly nice time.

“I created these events because I love real life get-togethers with like-minded folk; connecting in person rather than via screens. Running a small business can be lonely, and you’re trying to wear SO many different hats. I find networking an efficient way to give and receive advice, while making friends and useful contacts.”

What’s unique about this networking?

These events are held outdoors at a magical retreat venue in Swanmore. Think vintage caravan, outdoor sauna, glamping pods, great coffee in enamel cups and lovingly homemade sweet treats.

Connecting in nature adds a nourishing element, and in winter we netWALK to keep warm and get our steps in.

How it works

Sign up via Eventbrite and put the date in your diary!

Car parking is limited at Damson Hill Cottage so car sharing or parking offsite is encouraged where possible.

Bring along business cards, marketing material and anything to show during introductions that represents your business.

There’s great coffee, sweet treats and we’re surrounded by nature and beauty (think fire pit, vintage caravan, sauna, glamping pods, tree swings and outdoor seating areas).

In the winter we ‘netwalk’ to get our steps in and keep warm.

Magazine advertisers get a free place and it’s £15 for non-advertisers.
